Stop theft while it's still in the aisle.
Retail Theft watches the cameras you already own. Concealment, aggression towards staff and banned faces, spotted in real time, with an alert on your staff's phones in under four seconds.
Works with Hikvision, Dahua, UniFi Protect and any ONVIF camera.

Watch a theft not happen
This is the product working: the same interface your staff see, from first gesture to a banned face at the door.

It reads the gesture
Not motion: intent. The AI tracks body movement on every camera and recognises the moment an item goes into a pocket, a bag, a pram.

Staff know in under four seconds
Snapshot, camera, confidence, on every staff phone while the person is still in the aisle. A tap to confirm keeps the AI learning.

NEXT VISIT
They come back. You know first.
Confirmed incidents become evidenced ban-list entries. Next time they walk in, the door camera recognises them before they reach aisle one.

- from gesture to a staff phone buzzing. The alert is decided in your store, so it works even when the internet is down.
- 32
- cameras watched simultaneously by a single box. Larger sites get certified bigger hardware.
- 0
- frames of footage uploaded to the cloud. Video is recorded and analysed on the box in your store, nowhere else.
- 24/7
- coverage. After closing, the same cameras become an intrusion alarm: any person detected triggers a top-severity alert.
Built for the shops that get hit hardest
Convenience & off-licence
SHRINKAGESmall-format stores take the hardest theft losses in UK retail. Concealment alerts while the person is still in the aisle turn walk-outs into put-backs.
Supermarkets
COVERAGEOne box watches every aisle at once, at a fraction of a guard's wage. Alerts route to whoever is closest, with instant rewind on the wall.
Fashion & retail chains
ORGANISED CRIMEGangs work store to store. A shared ban list across your branches means banned in one, flagged in all, with the incident history attached.
Forecourts
STAFF SAFETYLate hours, lone workers, drive-offs. Aggression detection and the staff panic button raise every device in the building at once.
One system, four places it shows up
The box does the thinking. The wall, the portal and the phone in your staff's pocket are how you feel it.
THE WALL
Every camera, one glance
A purpose-built video wall for the back office: click to focus, alarm pane, instant rewind, multi-camera synchronised scrubbing. Alerts jump straight to the right tile.

Run the store from anywhere
Live view in the browser, incident files with hashed evidence, ban-list management with appeals and audit trail, camera health, weekly loss reports. On your phone from the sofa, or your installer's desk.
THE STAFF APP
The alert, as your staff see it
Snapshot, camera, what was seen. One tap to confirm or reject, and that tap retrains the models on your store's real footage. A panic button raises every device in the building.

THE BOX
Deliberately boring hardware
A small, quiet unit by your NVR, sized for 8 to 32 cameras and certified per store size. It updates itself, reports its own health, and never sends your footage anywhere.

Are you a CCTV installer?
Add AI theft detection to your offering: white-label under your own brand, manage every client site from one dashboard, and buy at wholesale.
Your footage never leaves the building
Cloud CCTV means your customers' faces on someone else's servers. We built it the other way round: all video is analysed and stored on the box inside your store, and the cloud coordinates with metadata only. Better privacy, a simpler ICO conversation, and no upload bandwidth bills.

Built to survive scrutiny
Face recognition in retail is only worth having if it stands up: to the ICO, to a court, to an appeal.
UK data residency
Footage stays in your store; platform data lives in London data centres. Nothing crosses borders.
Evidence chain of custody
Exported clips are hashed and watermarked, so what you hand to police is provably what the camera saw.
Governed ban lists
Every entry needs evidence, expires after 12 months, and can be appealed. Every face-data access is audit-logged.
ICO-registered operation
Developed inside a registered, actively engaged UK retail security operation, not adapted from abroad.
Questions shopkeepers actually ask
Almost certainly not. We connect to Hikvision, Dahua and UniFi Protect natively, and to anything that speaks ONVIF/RTSP, which covers the overwhelming majority of installed retail CCTV. Your NVR keeps recording exactly as it does today.
Nowhere. Video is decoded, analysed and recorded on the box inside your store. The cloud receives only metadata: alert records, camera health, ban-list entries. When you view footage remotely, it streams from your box on demand; nothing is stored in the cloud.
It is lawful when operated with the right basis, signage, retention limits and appeals process. The system was built inside an ICO-registered retail security operation and ships with the compliance machinery built in: evidence attached to every ban-list entry, 12-month automatic expiry, an appeals workflow, and a full audit log of every face-data access.
Detection, recording and staff alerts all run locally on the box, so the protection loop keeps working. The box re-syncs alert history and ban-list updates when the connection returns.
Every alert gets a one-tap confirm or reject from your staff, and those judgements retrain the models on real footage from real stores. The system you buy gets measurably better month on month, and it is tuned per store, not one-size-fits-all.
Yes: installers resell the platform white-label under their own brand, on their own domain, at their own pricing. If you already have a CCTV maintainer, point them at our installer programme.
